Ganske kult!

Mint green is not a color I often see used in interior, but like this kitchen images show, it sure brings a fresh breeze of cool inside the home. A color often more cold than warm, stills brings back memories of sunny summer days that just have past. At least for me. As you can see the color can be incorporated in many ways. On cabinets, furnitures, tiles or like my favorite a mint green SMEG fridge! Pretty cool!

Titt her!

I have a soft spot for black kitchens, and lately I have found interior pictures where black is the combination with green. The result is a very fresh look. And as you can see the color green can be integrated in a number of ways. On walls, details, cabinet fronts and if you are bold enough you might dare to have it on the floor. My favorite picture is the first image from Living Etc. The green kitchen floor adds another dimension of cool and the classic Eames chairs is the cherry on the cake. Need more kitchen inspiration? Look here!

Jimmy Schönning, a swedish interior stylist, have created his own attic studio with an exotic and soft atmosphere located at Söder in Stockholm. Every inch of space is cleverly and functionally planned and it is like the loft tells a story with all his personal and decorative accessories. The black wall and the mezzanine give the room greater volume. The color composition and choice of materials together with his personal decor the room gives an exotic feeling, far from the typical nordic style. This is an apartment full of little details, just look at the old iron box on wheel that fit perfectly under one of the build-in closets at the bottom picture.

Skandiabanken stands out  as a new and fresh concept with their new location on Kungsgatan in Stockholm. A couple of months ago I showed you an exciting and innovative banking interior from Paris, and it is very fun to see that Scandinavia is quick to follow up on this trend within banking interior. The design is distinguished by its casual look. Banks are often stiff and boring in their interior design, and not at least neutral. This has SkandiaBanken chosen to ignore and the designers from BVD was given a great amount of freedom and the result looks fantastic. They have played with contrasts in materials and colors . The green combined with the nordic wood gives a typical Scandinavian look. And look at the the lighting, it is used in a very innovative and creative way.

Look how refreshing it is with a touch of green in the interior. These rooms gives me a great feeling of early spring, which is quite nice to get in the middle of winter when it’s cold and dark outside. Colors affect us, and this green color gives us energy and joy, and is at the same time calming.
