Its rare to see a home with such a defined and beautiful composed color palette. I absolutely love it. With white as a color base, accessories and end walls are in pastels tones. Like the green wall behind the dinning table, which is more towards a moss green. And I also enjoy to see classic chairs like the RAR designed by Charles & Ray Eames, 1950 in unusual colors like her, in a mint green. Images by photographer Julien Fernandez.

A fun and cheerful 23 square meter apartment in Paris. This living space is defined by vertical lines in three different shades of pastels. The lines creates a greater vertical volume. Furniture is customized to optimize the functional space. The pastel glass bricks let light flow into the small shower room. A very feminine and creative atmosphere.

Restaurant Fabbrica in Bergen, Netherlands is a modern style Italian trattoria. It is focus on materials and a genuine experience. The designers from Studio Tjep are inspired by the experience of enjoying a great dinner on a train while looking at nice landscapes. So therefore the cool and modern train cabins in wood and pastel colours. They have created a great balance between a feminine and masculine look. It’s brought in different style elements to get the right balance. It is feminine pastels with romantic chandeliers against a graphic and rough industrial style. And of course in any Italian trattoria you need a real pizza oven, and this one is definitely done with style, covered in mosaic Bisazza tiles. Their first Fabbrica restaurant was open in Rotterdam 2005 and is also worth a look.
