Japanese architecture always fascinates me. This space is designed by GENETO. The images is of an empty space with no personal items, which you might think is a bit boring. But what I like is the contrast with the white architecture frame and the dark floors and space. Like the way they have build up the different rooms in the same dark material, creating a interesting streamlined space.

Disse bildene har jeg lagt min elsk på og jeg vurderer å male deler av veggen i stuen i den sorte fargen (9938 dempet sort). Sort og hvitt er i nydelig balanse i disse bildene, og jeg elsker den enkle og virkningsfulle stylingen for å fremheve fargene.
Jotun, a producer of paint has always inspiring images to promote their newest colors, Lady Supreme Finish. These are their latest pictures I have completely fallen in love with the black color (9938 dempet sort) . And I am considering painting parts of my living room wall in this. Black and white is put together in a beautiful balance in these pictures, and I love the simple, but yet powerful styling to highlight the colors.
En fargerik monokrom palett. Det er selve komposisjonen og kaoset som gjør studioet fargerikt, for paletten er kun svart og hvit. Det er Tenka Gammelgaard, en dansk artist og kunstner, som får utfolde seg i dette studioet. Lerretet er hvitt, men de sorte detaljene gir en dominerende effekt. Og den edderkopplampen som jeg liker å kalle den, er prikken over i´en. Antar at hun har system i kaoset, kreativiteten får ihvertfall flyte. Et rom med en herlig utstråling.
A colourful monochreome palette. It´s the composition and the chaos that makes the studio colorful, the palette is only black and white. Tenka Gammelgaard, a Danish artist and painter, creates and unfold in this studio. The canvas is white, but the black detail gives a dominant effect. And the spider lamp, that I like to call it, is like the icing on the cake. I Assume that she has a system in her chaos, her creativity certainly flow. A studio with a great vibe.

Et minimalistiskt loft i svart og hvitt. Loftet er på 64 kvm. Interiøret er ganske maskulint, men tregulvet i fiskebens mønster og de hvite murveggene myker opp uttrykket og gir det alikevel et lite feminint preg. Det kontrastfyllte fargevalget får leiligheten til å virke ren og ukomplisert. Den store svarte sofaen får rommet til å virke større. Det svarte og hvite er også brukt til å skille kjøkkendelen fra loungedelen. Jeg har følgt med på flere av prosjektene til Tamizo architects group, og det minimalistiske har blitt en del av varemerket deres.
A minimalistic attic space in black and white. The loft is 64 square meters. The black and white interior is quite masculine, but the fishbone patterned floor and white bricked walls soften up the expression and gives it a feminine touch. The white contrasting with the black feels so clean.The black sofa is huge and actually make the room feels bigger. And they have used color (black and white is also colors) to divide the kitchen from the lounge area. I have been following several of Tamizo architects group projects and I would say that the minimalistic design have become their trademark.
Denne leiligheten er et perfekt eksempel på hvordan balansere en fargepalett med bare sort og hvit. Ikke i ett eneste bilde er det for mye av det ene eller den andre. Og jeg elsker markeringen av vinduet med svart. Den samme “innrammingen” er blir gjenntatt i gulvet på både badet og i gangen. Veldig maskulint uttrykk, men fortsatt så chic! Jeg elsker det. This apartment is just the most perfect example on how to balance a color palette of only black and white. Not in a single one picture i think its to much of one or the other. And i just simply love the framing of the window with black. The same “framing” is echoed on the floor, both in bathroom and hallway. Very masculine look but still so chic! I love it. Forrige uke viste jeg dere danske Hays hotelkonsept StayCopenhagen med sine rene linjer i sort og hvitt. Nå har jeg lyst å vise dere danske Norm.Architects.Copenhagen som på samme måte som StayCopenhagen spiller på en ren og enkel palett i sort og hvitt. Og begge viser de frem nydelig dansk design.
Det jeg synes er spesielt kult med denne penthouse leiligheten er hvordan de har bygd inn Tv´en i stueveggen og gjort den nesten usynlig i den svarte veggen. Legg også merke til hvordan den svarte veggen nesten svever litt over gulvet, arkitekten har brukt lys (tipper ledlys) for å oppnå denne tøffe effekten.

Now I want to show you Danish Norm.Architects.Copenhagen doing the same, making an elegant home with an clean and monochrome palette in black and white. And they both put in beautiful Danish design.
What I think is particularly cool with this penthouse apartment is how they have built in the TV in the living room and made it almost invisible in the black wall. Another thing, notice how the black wall almost hovers slightly above the floor. The architect has used light (my guess is led lights) to achieve this effect. Nice
Stay copenhagen er et leilighetskompleks bygget med tanke både på langtidsboende og kortidsboende. Det fungerer i hovedsak som et hotell; med andre ord du kan få skiftet sengetøy og få frokost på senga hver dag. Alle rom er innredet med produkter fra Hay i en stilren og monokrom palett. Her bor du sentralt med cafeer og butikker i nærheten og med en deilig sjøutsikt. Verdt å teste ut til neste københavns tur.
Stay Copenhagen is a housing complex for both long- and short term residents. It´s just like a hotel, you can have fresh and clean bedlinen every day, and breakfast every morning. The rooms are all furnished with products from HAY in a monochrome palette. It´s located in central copenhagen with a lovely seaview. Definitely worth trying out for your next copenhagen stay!
