The concept New Math by Craig Damrauer has been a favorite of mine for many years. Love the humor and simplicity behind the equations, specially “Modern Art = I could do that / Yeah, but you didn’t”. The German interior architect and product designer Sascha Grewe have created this colorful Letters Stools under the name Art Can Break Your Heart. They combine two of my favorite things, type and functionality. The stools is optionally available in an open variant, as bookshelf or with drawer. Every piece is hand made in MDF by Sascha and you can get it in 250 colors. I think it would look perfect in a kids room or in a creative office space. Or maybe as my new bedside table! A few months ago I wrote about different cups with typography. In the end I bought these from Bolina.no. The ABC cups is from DesignLetters and the beautiful type is buy the one and only Arne Jacobsen. So from now all my future guest will get there coffee and tea in these cups!

This is sadly enough not a great buy tip , but anyway thought it would a good inspiraton post. If you have a old table, or are planning a tour to the flea market to do some finds, have his in mind. An idea easy to steal, you just need some paint and a graphic stencil and you´ll have your very own Eames designed table. The tables shown is a limited edition that was only possible to obtain at the Herman Miller Reach event in Hong Kong on Sept. 16. Danske Optimistic living tok utgangspunkt i skandinaviske hjem og de hvite veggene vi så gjerne omgir oss med. Ieva Glasius-Nyborg som er designeren syntes det var nødvendig med noe lekent og kreativt å dekorere veggene med og her er resultatet. Sticky wallstickers er lette å sette opp, og gjort på noen få minutter. Tror nok man skal finne noe for enhver her. Hun har også satt sitt typografiske uttrykk på flere interiør prosjekter.
