This wonderful playhouse, X-HUS is designed by Studio 17. A little Norwegian company with two architects Christine Petersen and Anne Frøydis Linnerud. Both mothers, they came up with the idea to X-Hus after realizing that a quality product like this did not exist for kids. The playhouse is produced here in Norway and comes flat packed, and easy to put together. Made out of 6 mm thick plywood with a footprint of 0.6 x 1.2 meters and a hight of 1.2 meters. Weight 20 kg, and cost from 3500 NOK depending on the finishing. If you are located in Oslo you can buy it from DogA.

Came across this image on the blog a perfect gray and loved it. Not often I fall for patterns, but this oriental looking tiles I like a lot! More tile inspiration? Look here. We have written about a kitchen earlier that use tiles beautifully, recommend you to take a look at it!
On a cliff in southern Sri Lanka you can spot this architectural concrete dream of a house. It is completed to perfection by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando. It is a great balance of contrasts, the heavy concrete surface is perfectly emphasized by the open and spatial plan; light and shadow unfold the exciting structure. And there are no superlatives to describe the open roof terrace with the fantastic eternity pool.

Who said white tiles had to be boring? Not me! Here we have collected 15 bathrooms and as you can see: a white tile is not just a white tile. With a variation in size from big to tiny mosaic, and what you decide to use on the floor, the bathroom can get a very different look. Why not lay the tiles in angle or maybe use yellow grout instead of black or white? The options are many. My favorite bath is picture no. 1 and the last no. 15. What is yours? Dan Yeffet and Lucie Koldova have designed a new series of coffee tables, consisting of three low tables with base in solid oak and glass satin tabletop, available in either white or black edition. The different levels adds a dynamic sense to the lounge. I often think coffee tables tend to be a bit boring in their form and structure, but these ones do not go in that category. A great favorite among coffee tables.

Difficult not to notice this modern patio house in IJburg, Amsterdam. VMX Architects played with structure and colour and not the idea of blending in when they created this project. It is nothing like the other houses on the same row, but because it follows the same architectural shape as the other houses it somehow seem perfectly fitted in to the neighborhood. The bright yellow facade pops out and stands out as a beautiful piece of modern architecture. The inside is dominated by rough concrete and clean withe surfaces; and to bring the great statement of a beautiful facade, some yellow elements are added to the interior.
