A while ago we wrote about how you can use IKEA Prant boxes to make your own modular shelves system. The response was big and the other day we got a very nice email from a newly started advertising agency based in Tønsberg called BREAKFAST. They are eager followers of Ideas To Steal and they followed this DIY idea. IKEA PRANT boxes comes in plywood, and by painting them in different colors you can easily create your own look and design. And below you can see amazing results! Very cool and they have even taken pictures with my favorite magazine on the shelves MONOCLE. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the office.
Synes denne ideen er helt fantastisk. Ideen og bildene er fra IKEA sin svenske “blogg” Livet Hemma. Jeg er for tiden på utkikk etter hyller til mitt kontor og hadde lyst på stablehyller. Det finnes mange versjoner der ute, men det blir fort penger av det. Derfor måtte jeg bare stjele disse bilde til bloggen slik at både du og jeg kan stjele denne ideen. De har brukt PRANT kassene fra IKEA. Boksene er i ubehandlet tre og kommer i flere forskjellige str med lokk. Men det er jo uten tvil helt genialt og bruke de som hyller. Og så kan du male de i fargene som matcher perfekt til rommet. Eller hva med tapetsere bakveggen med fint papir fra feks papirgalleriet (i Oslo) som har et kjempe stort utvalg av mønstrete papir i alle mulige farger? Denne ideen skal i alle fall jeg stjele, IKEA next!
I think this idea is fantastic. The idea and the images are from IKEA’s Swedish “blog” Livet Hemma. I am currently looking for shelving for my office and wanted to have stacked shelves. There are many versions out there, but the price is in many cases to high. So I just had to steal these photos to my blog so that both you and I can steal this idea. They have used PRANT boxes from IKEA. The boxes are in wood and come in various sizes with lids. But it’s undoubtedly brilliant and use them as shelves. And then you can paint them in colors that match perfectly to the room. Or what about tapisere back wall with fine paper from the papirgalleriet (in Oslo), which has a big selection of patterned paper in all color. This idea I am going to steal, IKEA next!
