This month challenge from NIB is new meets old. Well, my home is filled with old treasures I have inherited from my family. And my style at home is a true mix of modern icons and old things with good memories attached to it. So this is my contributions from my dining room. What you see is old medicine bottles, which I use as vases on my dining table. And in the background is a big graffiti painting by a friend of mine. Chairs is Chair One designed by Konstantin Grcic for MAGIS. If you love the mix of old and new, take a look at our category Vintage and Industrial style.

For dyrt? Da har IKEA noen billigere alternativer. For å se andre alternativer til lamper over spisebordet, klikk her.

If you are lucky enough to have enough space for a large dining table, the changes are that more than a single lamp will do the job best to lighten the cozy dinner parties. I have gathered some nice photos with the names of most of the lights collected. Two, three or even more lamps together in a row or in different heights is both decorative and functional. Hope you get inspired!

It is spring and why not bring bright colors into your home. Like bright pink around the dining table. Fresh and colorful! And the color works equally well within a modernistic expression with Arne Jacobsen, or how about giving new life to some old chairs in the last picture?
